How do regular community residents address the issue of small business and job creation in local communities across urban America from a community-led development prospective?

There are many ways to do this, but one easy way which I think of is to strongly support the existing small businesses in your community.  These small businesses then may be able to hire more employees,  or if they are family owned/ operated may be able to invest back in to their businesses, which may increase their tax liability.

Support may include buying their goods/services, leaving positive reviews on their social media networks,  recommending them to friends and family,  or to publishing a small business guide for your community which helps with their marketing.
